Embrace Difference and Inquire

Our current show at Gallery Revisited is sparking a lot of questions.
One of which is,
"What exactly happened here?"
Yes, I know, it sounds curious doesn't it?

And at the same time, it is very very exciting, because the artist and I realized that we put into fruition something completely unique.
In fact, we are not aware that anything like this has been done before.

"So...what IS IT?", You ask.

Well - in a nutshell we hung a show.
The show was up for 3 days.
Then we had an opening reception.
("AaaND", You ponder, "What is so new about that? sounds like samo-samo to me.")

During said opening reception a team of 4 assistants proceeded to remove the existing artwork from the walls and put up a whole different body of related work.
This whole different body of work (PART TWO) is on view in the gallery right now and until June 14th.

View PART ONE and the Transition now.

Here is the back story.

Further reading is here.

Which brings me to this contemplative words of wisdom:
When faced with something different - embrace it and inquire.

(I mean, like, aren't we always going on and on about how most art is something that has been done before? That the opportunity for something unique is so rare?)
