-----PRESS RELEASE SYNOPSIS-------
The exhibition will focus on contributions of Los Angeles galleries, the cultures from which they draw inspiration and the Eastside of LA as an important source for contemporary art. This exhibit was made possible in part by the Silver Lake Gallery Alliance, Department of Cultural Affairs, Eric Garcetti 13th Council Office, Los Angeles Municipal Gallery, East Hollywood Neighborhood Council....and more.

While there is no over arching critical doctrine that unites them philosophically, all the participating galleries are representative of a new generation of determining art culture and share in an inherent formative energy that has resulted in a significant strain of art in Los Angeles.

Participating Exhibitors Include:
La Luz de Jesus, Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery, Black Maria, drkrm Gallery, Gallery Revisited, Ghetto Gloss, Junc Gallery, Materials & Applications, Thinkspace, Bert Green Fine Art, Acuna Hansen, David Patton, Tropico de Nopal, De Soto, Farmlab and Fresh Pressed.
