Personally I have been an artLA fan, because I tend to like contemporary art. But let's not forget where we all began folks. Besides, a friend of mine called me enthusiastically from the show last year and was floored that there were $80,000 to $500,000 paintings leaning on the floor, inches away, in a flurry of commerce and art appreciation for the instant, in a noisy place...not in the quiet of the museum.
But I digress.
Besides, LA Art Show is hosting Supersonic this year. MFA students from our fair city and beyond. Now that's some new art.
