Using Time Up in a Place

I have had the house to myself this weekend....except for Chicken.

Yes, her nickname is Chicken. Her real name is Little Bird - Bird for short. And sometimes Pigeon.

Some friends of mine from Fallen Fruit have just posted that a grapefruit tree fell in my neck of the woods, and that bushels of fruit are on a porch at a particular address.....so off I go now that I am done photographing about 40 works on paper + details to post on "azure toll" this week.

This is a detail for a piece called "breathe". Random flight path locations were selected beginning with the letters b-r-e-a-t-h-e. It's always a thrill to see how nature and technology create the little line "drawings".

I am so relieved to see that the photos look like they came out good. Photographing white and cream pieces of paper is the hardest thing to do. This was the second run....

Now off to run and get grapefruit and then to the store for some more embroidery floss and paper.
